Why Choose Us?

Cambria are driven by providing unparalleled service and delivering results on time.  Our reputation is the foundation for everything we do and everything we do affects it. It is therefore fundamental that at the very beginning of our appointment we fully understand our Client aspirations and requirements for their proposed project.

We are a regional multi-disciplinary engineering practice whom are working hard to deliver the message that not all Engineers are number crunching machines offering the same service – WE DON’T! We listen to feedback and make it personal:

  • A Director will run your project from start to finish – consistency is key to our clients, you won’t get passed around a multi-disciplinary team.
  • We are completely client orientated and only send the right people to meetings to avoid time wasting.
  • Where appropriate, we will bring to your attention any commercial sales or development opportunities that we hear of.

The decisions we make, particularly in the early stages when planning engineering strategies are critical to the planning process, project budget, programme, site environment, project risk profile and overall deliverability.

Our Directors and Engineers are very sensitive to commercial client pressures and will work towards alleviating those unique and sometimes bespoke pressures by prioritising specific aspects and regularly feeding back information and communicating with our clients to provide surety and comfort throughout the project.

We will always communicate openly to ensure we understand those priorities as they might not always be obvious. For example:

  • if we are working for an end user client we might prioritise maximising added value against their budget and specification.
  • if we are working for a contractor we might prioritise minimising risk.
  • if we were working for a developer we might initially prioritise maximising site knowledge for minimum spend.
  • if we were working for a domestic residential client would prioritise plain English explanations of defects or required remedial works.

We understand that one approach does not fit all, and it is imperative that we exercise our construction industry acumen to best effect. With Cambria on board you can be assured of focussed engineering, working thoroughly through all aspects of the workscope with the correct emphasis on your needs.

Cambria considers the importance of being an appropriately open and transparent organisation and provides extensive information about our organisation on this website however, due to the size and nature of our daily operations and to combat plagiarism; we have deemed it not in the public interest to display our company policies and environmental impacts on our website. All documentation is freely available for inspection by our clients and the general public upon written request.
