Drainage

The provision of adequate surface and foul drainage is critical to the day to day running of any building even more so with the advent of global warming and limited resources to treat effluent. We are expert in delivering cost effective Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) to deal with the surface water run-off over and above the Greenfield Run-off Rate usually demanded by the Local Drainage Board and The Environment Agency/Natural Resources Wales.

We also deliver clever foul water solutions which can create opportunities for new sites to be developed.  Examples include creating additional foul capacity in combined sewers by diverting surface water or by requisitioning new foul sewers to avoid third party ransom situations. We have extensive experience in delivering the widest range of cost effective and sustainable drainage solutions including:

  • S104 New Foul and Surface Water Sewers For Adoption by the Local Utility Company.
  • S185 Works Involving Alterations or Diversions of Existing Adopted Sewers.
  • The Hydraulic Modelling of Existing and Proposed Drainage Systems Using Windes.
  • EA Discharge and Environmental Permits.
  • SUDS Design Solutions Including Soakaways, Attenuation Ponds, Swales, Porous Paving, Reed Beds, etc.
  • Rainwater Harvesting Systems.
  • On-site Livestock and Human Effluent Treatment Works.
  • Foul Pumping Stations and Rising Mains.
