TeenTech at Islwyn High School

October 25th, 2018

Kiron House, a Structural Engineer at Cambria, attended the TeenTech event at Islwyn High School involving several local feeder primary schools on Thursday 25th October. The event included an activity where the students were tasked with producing buildings for cities of the future from recycled materials. Kiron got the opportunity to sit on the judging panel for the event and has said, ‘There were some great innovative and forward thinking ideas created by the students who created great designs… plenty for us designers to think about for the future!!!’

TeenTech supports young people to see the wide range of career possibilities in Science, Engineering and Technology. They work with companies such as Universities and Business Organisations to build sustainable and imaginative programmes focusing on regions of greater social needs in the UK and Europe.
